Programs built around families
Nine thousand of the Tulsans THA serves are children. Our resident programs are designed for households with kids, seniors raising grandchildren and families working toward a next step.
Program
Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS)
FSS pairs a parent with a coordinator to set five-year goals — finishing school, earning a certification, buying a first home. As earnings rise, the rent-driven increase goes into an escrow savings account the family keeps at graduation.

Program
Building Our Tomorrow Microgrant
Small, fast grants for resident-led ideas that make a community better: a raised garden bed, a reading nook, a block cleanup, youth sports fees. Residents propose it, residents run it.

Social Services Coordinators
Coordinators work on-site at THA communities so families do not have to navigate systems alone — healthcare, utility assistance, food resources, childcare, job training and elder services.

Resource Rec Centers
Rec Centers give kids a safe place after school for tutoring, meals and activities, and give adults space for classes, meetings and community events.
