Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS)

FSS pairs a resident with a coordinator to set five-year goals — school, a certification, a first home — while rent-driven increases in earnings build an escrow savings account the family keeps when they graduate.

HUD's Section 3 rule means that when federal money funds housing work, contractors are expected to direct hiring and contracting opportunities to low-income residents and the businesses that employ them. THA can help you meet it.
